Who is Katrin Gebbe?– In Enschede, he studied liberal arts and visual communication at the Academy of Visual Arts, where he made his first short experimental film. In 2005, he received a postgraduate film directing degree from the Hamburg Media School. Her short film, Ulrike Folkerts, was awarded the ‘Adult Jury Prize’ for short films at the Chicago International Children’s Film Festival. In 2009 he also won the European Young Civic Media Award.

Nothing Bad Can Happen, his first feature film, tells the story of a Hamburg Jesus freak. The Un Certain Regard section sent an invitation to the film at the 66th Cannes Film Festival.
